Mojo Carnival Club takes part in several of the world renowned "West Country Carnivals" including Sturminster Newton, Mere, Frome, Shaftesbury, Gillingham, Castle Cary and Ansford, Trowbridge, Warminster, Shepton Mallet and Midsomer Norton.

How we got here. . . In November of 2009 a meeting was held at the Highwayman Inn in Shepton Mallet to discuss the possibility of launching a second Shepton based carnival club, the initial turnout boasted interest in the venture and we took a break for the Christmas period before we would launch officially. January saw the official launch of Mojo Carnival Club when we held our AGM, with the election of officers and club members proposing and voting on their very own theme ideas for the years entry into Carnival. It was during this period also that club members procured a trailer for use in the years entry ahead.Currently we have started to fundraise by holding quizzes, organising car boot sales and other mediums. Our first carnival will be at Sturminster Newton - 21st of August 2010, we hope to see everyone there. This website is a work in progress and probably will be for the first year until we have done our first circuit of carnivals and fundraising for the year....
